Our beautiful garden, established in 1935, boasts an array of large trees and spacious garden beds, including a thriving vegetable garden. The current owners undertook a restoration of the garden in 1981, revitalizing its charm and vitality.
Explore our photo album showcasing the garden's evolution and surroundings since 1935, capturing its rich history and growth.
The garden gracefully encircles our Tudor-style house, featuring a delightful mix of cottage plantings and native species. This design takes full advantage of varying soil types—both wet and dry—as well as sunny and shady spots.
As a functional garden, it serves as a large house garden, complete with fruit trees and vegetables that supply the home. Visitors can browse our sales table, offering plants, homemade jams and chutneys, and a selection of unique gifts.
Discover charming structures nestled within the garden, including a summer house, relaxing summer seat, a purpose-built small berry cage, obelisks, and decorative plant stands. Come and enjoy a leisurely stroll through our captivating garden, where history, nature, and community come together.
