Enjoy meeting New Zealand natives and their exotic friends...

New Zealand gardeners are amongst the luckiest on the planet. Nowhere else in the world offers such as amazing range of plants, thriving in an area so easily accessible to the visitor. In such a young country New Zealanders have a fresh innovative approach to the garden tradition.

Wairarapa

An hour north of Wellington over the Rimutaka Hills you will find the Wairarapa region. It is a mix of bush clad hills, flat planes and the rugged eastern coast where Cape Palliser is located. Masterton makes up a large part of the Classic Wine Trail. Pukaha Mount Bruce National Wildlife Centre is popular with visitors as is the weekend getaway of Greytown, a favourite for Wellingtonians.
