Designed and created for the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit Trilogies, the Hobbiton Movie Set gardens tell a unique story of the individual and communal lives of the fictional characters known as “hobbits.” From elegant English cottage gardens, to productive vegetable gardens and fruit tree orchards, the village of Hobbiton features a wide variety of plant species and natural elements to produce a bucolic and serene environment. Gardened areas blend into wilderness and vegetables grow among flowers, creating habitats that encourage beneficial insects and bird life. Upwards of 40 flower gardens highlight the architecture of the Hobbit Holes™, three vegetable gardens, and sprawling fields are sure to delight the senses. Hobbiton Movie Set offers guided tours of the 12acre Movie Set, as well as picturesque venue spaces that allow visitors to fully immerse themselves in the home of the Hobbits
